Do I need a ticket?
No. Admission to the festival is free but we gratefully accept donations of £10 per adult and £5 per child to help secure the future of our great music festival and to support the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal.
Can I bring my pet?
No animals (except assistance dogs) will be allowed at the festival site. The land is used for cattle grazing at other times of the year.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes. However, please help us by buying from our outlets on site. Don't forget that food and drink sales are one of our main sources of income.
Can I camp?
Sorry, there's no camping at the festival site.
How can I get involved in volunteering at the festival?
We're always on the lookout for volunteers to help with all aspects of running this hugely popular event. Things include site construction, gate and car park stewards, bar staff, tea tent and BBQ staff. We also need a stage team who can assist the stage managers, unloading and loading equipment., maintaining the hospitality area and general running. Many of these roles will only need a couple of hours of your time. If you'd like to get involved then contact us via the Facebook page or firstname.lastname@example.org
I am a trader, how do I apply to trade at the festival?
If you think you have something great to offer then please contact us via the Facebook page or email@example.com
Can I come perform at the festival?
We love to hear from musical artists. Please send your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and include links to your audio and video so we get a good taster for what you do. We're always on the look out for great talent. This year we received a record 85 applications. We can't pay a fee but we aim to give the artists a great experience. We have large stages with world-class sound and lighting systems run by tamed professionals, and everyone involved donates their time for free in order to sustain something we’ve all come to love. Please rest assured that no one makes any money out of this and the festival is funded purely by sponsorship, food and drink sales and donations during the weekend. The emphasis is most definitely now on quality and variety, with an increasing number of young musicians getting their first taste of a professional stage and set-up. The festival helps promote and fuel the local music scene.
How come it's free? How do you manage to pay for such a high quality event?
We have a core team who work tirelessly for nothing throughout the year to stage FirsFest. Come the summer we have a fantastic team of volunteers who give their time for the love of it and we are eternally grateful to them all. The bands and acts all play for no fee - amazing huh? They like to be here and we love to have them. Testament to how professional in every respect the festival is run, not least the quality sound and fantastic lighting. We have an amazing collection of sponsors and we thank every single one of them - love you guys. We also receive important income from food and drink sales and donations on the day.
This year we're also proudly supporting the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal.
Can I park at the festival?
Yes. Parking is free and plentiful.
