The Intercepteurs

The Intercepteurs were formed in 2008 in Salisbury and since then have been regularly writing, recording & performing original Ska in and around London and the south and have supported The Beat, Dreadzone, The Toasters and many more.

Described by The Dublin Castle, Camden, as  “ska pop supremos” in the Specials/Beat mould with plenty of nods in the playing to the bedrock of the music- Skatalites, Baba Brooks, Millie Smalls et al… and add a little Britpop cum psych ’60s spice too….uplifting n joyous with it”.  Kind of ‘end of the pier’ English Ska(ish) type stuff.  Think Kinks go ska, in places.

After a recording session at Ladbroke Grove with producer Nick Manasseh, The Intercepteurs are due to release an EP in the summer.
